POP. Fizz. Clink! Yes fam, we turned 7 on March 7 and there’s been a BIG celebration all week long! They say that time flies when you are having fun and we totally agree. It feels just like yesterday when we started in 2014 with just five members. Today, we are a team of over 800 awesome people who love what they do and we have to thank you, our dear reader, for all the love, and the likes, shares and comments that have gotten us this far!
The journey to becoming India’s largest digital community of women has been exciting and inspiring, and it calls to be celebrated with a bang. Tons of giveaways, a super fun team video and a no-holds-barred LIVE session with me – that was part of the celebratory rollout! But before we put on our party hats, we took a look at seven of our biggest wins in the last seven years.
Say Hello To Our New Baby, Plixxo!
After launching POPxo in 2014, it was in 2017 that Plixxo came into being. India’s largest influencer marketing platform, Plixxo brings together the best of digital creators and connects them with brands to help create engaging content. Today, almost four years later, Plixxo, with its network of 80,000 influencers, is helping brands execute large-scale campaigns and marketing drives. To date, we have executed over 1000 campaigns for our diverse clientele.
POPxo Is Available In Four Languages
With English and Hindi content giving us millions of monthly active users across all platforms, we decided to take things up a pop in 2019 and launched two new languages. As of today, POPxo is available in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Bangla. We have a loyal readership of 150 million for English, 45 million for Hindi, 10 million for Marathi, 3 million for Bengali and the fan base continues to expand.
We Made Shopping More Fun!
As a digital platform for women across the country, it only made sense for us to venture into e-commerce. Thus, POPxo Shop was launched in 2019 with a wide range of phone covers, sweatshirts, stationery, bags, pouches and beauty products designed especially to cater to millennials.
We Aced WFH!
More than quantifiable success, 2020 was the year of mental and emotional wins and we are proud to say that we survived the year of the pandemic and it was one hell of a ride! Last year was tough but we’ve come out stronger, thanks to our oh-so-Glamm team and our wonderful audience who’ve always supported us.

MyGlamm acquired POPxo in 2020 which makes us a part of India’s fastest-growing direct-to-consumer beauty brand. We are now the largest content, community, and commerce company in South Asia. Together, we are always creating something new, something extraordinary. But more importantly, it’s your wish that’s our command. We are constantly talking to Indian women to create new, innovative products for them. The idea is simple–to create something that our users really love. 2020 was the year of new beginnings for POPxo and the MyGlammXOBeautyCreator program has been a part of the win. Just a few months old, it is already a family of 3000+ influencers who are a part of the MGXOBC fam. Together with these influencers we are exploring all things beauty and having a lot of fun at it!

Our page views and video views are off the charts, if we may say so ourselves! We proudly boast of 12 million fans on Facebook, 2.7 million subscribers on YouTube and 1.3 million followers on Instagram who’ve spent a total 45 million hours on POPxo in the last 7 years. Whoa! In fact, our videos recorded a collective 4 billion views and 45 billion social media impressions. Now that’s really something, right?
